We are currently seeking to hire Warehouse associates at our Cold Storage Facility in Hamilton ! Forklift Experience Required. We will assist with license renewal if required. **Forklift Experience Required $20-$21 per/hr starting rates ! - In addition, receive 0.75c afternoon shift premium or $1/ hr Night shift premium. Benefits after 3 Months 3 Shift Options: Dayshift: 7 Am-3:30 PM Afternoon shift: 3Pm-11:30PM Nights: 11PM to 7:30 AM. Candidate must be comfortable working in a cold environment (temperatures ranging from 3 to -20 Degrees Celsius. Our Hamilton facility is a new state-of-the-art facility with the latest technologies. What You will Be Doing/Position Details: The purpose of the Warehouse/Cold Chain Associate is to ensure receiving and loading the trucks accurately and on time ensuring following all safety regulations and company procedures. This job involves repetitive heavy lifting required up to 60 pounds. Other duties include but are not limited to: Efficiently move product from the staging or storage areas into trailers Accurately count, select, check, and receive orders Load items via hand bombing and lumping procedures Ensure a safe working environment utilizing consistent practice of health and safety procedures following all company GMPs and SOPs Checking all shipments and reporting shortages, damages, and misplacements when compared to the driver’s manifest Learning how to use RF scanners to accurately record products Minimum Requirements: High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of experience and education Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse environment preferred Ability to communicate effectively and professionally Fluent in English Good mathematical skills Thrives in a team environment A demonstrated capacity and interest in learning and developing Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Accuracy and attention to detail Comfortable with working conditions: cold temperature, regular lifting and twisting/bending Perks of the Job?
