About This Opportunity: H2O.ai is seeking a User Interface Engineer to join the team and help build out the nextgeneration of AI-powered user experiences. The position will require working directlywith designers, product owners, and engineers across the organization. As a candidate you should be an experienced Web developer, with a solid understandingof Web browsers, and the standards they are based on. You should be able to work wellwith other engineers on a team, as well as have the ability to design and build entire userinterfaces from scratch as an individual. You will have a keen eye for good design, and the ability to work with designers toimplement, extend, and complement their design concepts. What You Will Do: Develop high-quality, responsive, and scalable user interfaces for our web applications Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure consistent look and feel across our products Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that adheres to our coding standards and best practices Optimize the performance of our applications and ensure they are accessible on various devices and browsers Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in UI development and make recommendations for improvement Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers Troubleshoot and debug UI issues and work with the team to resolve them quickly What We Are Looking For: 5+ years of experience in UI development with modern technologies and frameworks Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript Experience with popular front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue Experience with version control systems such as Git Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Experience with modern front-end build tools such as Webpack or Rollup Familiarity with UI design principles and ability to create responsive layouts Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for UI development Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills How to Stand Out From the Crowd: UI/UX design experience Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch Full-stack experience with other languages such as Python, Java, or Go Experience with ML / AI Experience with designing and implementing data visualizations Experience working with databases, such as PostgreSQL or others Cloud development experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker or Kubernetes Why H2O.ai?
