We employ more than 1,200 people in environmental waste management and recovery, renewable energy, paving and construction, aggregates, and emulsions chemistries.Growth and transformation are a natural part of our business and our employees evolve with us.We are looking for a Temporary Truck Driver at our Walker Brothers Quarry locations.Truck Driver (Temporary)Today we have opportunities for you to join us as a Truck Driver at our our Walker Brothers Quarry location. Duties of the job: * Perform pre-trip inspections. * Be willing to take both direction and initiative on the job. * Operate a truck safely and efficiently. * Assist Maintenance, Plant Operator, Labourer when Crushing Plant is down. * Be willing to work in extreme and unpleasant weather conditions. * Be accountable for all fluid levels and cleanliness of operating cab. * Be aware of all conditions while operating and adjust accordingly. * Achieve all requirements of Common core training. * Other duties as assigned by Superintendent or Production Supervisor Ideally, you'll have these qualifications: * High school diploma, or equivalent by experience; * Experience in a related aggregate/construction industry; * Experience operating a skid steer/man lift equipment; * Able to operate heavy equipment and/or construction equipment; * Previous Asphalt Plant or Quarry Experience is an asset; * Common Core Certification is an asset; * DZ Class Driver's License is an asset.
