Job Duties Coordinate with team members to assign responsibilities for stocking, cleaning, labeling, and decorating the store. Supervise and coordinate all sales transactions between staff and cashiers to ensure a smooth customer experience. Attend to customer queries and complaints in person or over the phone, addressing issues like employee behavior, product availability, and returns. Facilitate resolution of escalated customer service issues. Operate the cash register, handling payments through cash, debit cards, and credit cards. Assist with authorizing special payment methods like cheques and managing merchandise returns. Prepare inventory orders based on current stock levels to keep the store well-supplied. Prepare daily reports to track sales volumes and merchandising effectiveness. Assist in the hiring process for new staff members and oversee their sales skills training. Hold regular team meetings to discuss performance metrics, customer feedback, and workflow improvements. Maintain optimal store conditions by upholding visual merchandising standards and managing in-store promotions. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and fraud risks. Perform any other duties required for the store's successful operation. Job Requirements Completion of Secondary School. Experience managing a team in sales or operations. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve common goals. Available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days, and evenings.
