If you require information in a format that is accessible to you, please contact XXXX@opg.com JOB OVERVIEW Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Senior Advisor, Work Management. Reporting to the Assistant Maintenance Manager DNNP, this position is responsible for the creation of a work management process for the Ontario Power Generation’s new Small Modular Reactors. Key responsibilities include providing the design of a new work management process, building a cross functional team of collaborators, and facilitating support services to achieve the desired outcome. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where you will contribute to OPG’s public outreach, engagement and education efforts as part of the company’s commitment to growing its social license. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide technical and product expertise, advice and guidance, analysis, assessment, consultative services, problem solving, and coaching to build the new Work Management process and programming in assigned areas of responsibilities, including process improvements, strategies, organization, preparation, scheduling, execution, reporting, and long-term business and equipment performance, and Work Management software applications. Ensure applicable Work Management experience lessons and applicable issues are addressed and incorporated in governance, as required. Provide direction and feedback with regards to the Work Management process, in planning and development of metrics, governing documents, station system software applications related to Work Management, and overall productivity is achieved by the new work management process, to support achieving outage and online performance targets and long-term improvements. Develop strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines and identify and resolve any implementation and technical issues. Attend meetings, as required, to ensure suppo rt of the development of hte work management process es. Prepare presentation material meetings, review and/or approval, as required. Assume the role of the line of business contact for the station work management system (SWMS) applications, reviewing issues and enhancement requests. Work with the IT support organization, as required, to identify such issues/requests, and test any changes before approving them for implementation to production. Consider value for money, business rationale, (what is required and why?), the implication of requests if the enhancement/recommended is not completed, what Ontario Power Generation (OPG) strategic alignment initiative does the request support. Provide support to the manager in the implementation of governing documents, integration of support services, fleet initiatives, projects and programs to optimize the overall company performance in the areas of safety, reliability, human performance and cost control. Acting as a SME, facilitate corporate-level Work Management working groups, peer teams, corrective action review board (CARB), Candu Owners Group (COG), etc. Other Duties as Required EDUCATION 4 year degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent is required QUALIFICATIONS Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a flexible hybrid office environment. Experience in the operation of nuclear generating plants, including specialized equipment, processes, tooling, techniques, and methods used. Strong command of the maintenance and operating responsibilities including relevant procedures, problems, codes, standards, system equipment characteristics, control, maintenance, work management and resource requirements Problem solving skills required in the planning and control function in Nuclear and to become familiar with methods of assessments and consolidation Proven record in developing and communicating strategies and programs to promite nuclear businesses both internally and externally The successful candidate will exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to upholding corporate values, and the OPG Code of Business Conduct.
