Your primary role will be new deal development, origination and placement.Employer ProfileWe primarily provide financing procurement services to client companies who require additional or specialized financing not available from banks and other financial institutions. We are independently owned and our ability to act as a broker, or agent, or principal gives us a serious advantage over our competitors. We work with financial institutions, secondary lenders, alternative sources of capital, and internally managed capital pools.Candidate ProfileWe are seeking a dynamic transaction-oriented business development leader with their career to date in the commercial/corporate financing industry. You have held executive positions with non-institutional commercial and corporate lenders. We are seeking candidates with in-depth experience in all facets of senior, subordinated and convertible debt lending as well as asset based lending, commercial real estate funding, and project financing. You have the industry credentials to structure and co-ordinate the funding of new corporate financing opportunities.Position ProfileYou are responsible for developing new financing referrals, originating, and funding corporate debt financing requests on behalf of client companies.You will submit Financing Assessments on potential financing requests to the Underwriting Team.Roles & ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will : be required to complete and execute an internal Marketing Plan to ensure stable monthly deal-flow of new debt financings, negotiate and structure financing details, provide financing advice, risk management tactics and positioning recommendations You will hire and work directly with the Senior Advisor, Capital Markets in preparing and co-ordinating funding efforts with non-institutional and private funders through professionally prepared underwriting submissions and funder presentationsRemuneration PackageThrough the support of an existing Underwriting Team and Capital Markets Team, your ability to focus on generating a higher personal income through new deal development and placement is greatly enhanced.
