Rack Petroleum Ltd is full service supplier of fertilizer, chemical, custom application, agronomy services, research and bulk fuel to producers in west central Saskatchewan. The Rack is a vibrant, rapidly expanding company with new ventures constantly underway. Headquartered in Biggar, offices are located in Perdue, Unity, Wilkie, Luseland, North Battleford, Rosetown, Delisle, Outlook, Saskatoon and Swift Current. We are currently looking to fill our Rosetown, Delisle and Luseland Summer Student positions. Position Summary Summer students are responsible to assist the location team in daily operations including customer management, yard operations, chem shed operations and inventory control. Students will also be required to assist with the Ultimate Yield Management Institute (UYMI) Agronomy program which may include crop scouting, tissue sampling and soil sampling. Students will be asked to work in coordination with the other members of The Rack team in a variety of situations. Qualifications and Requirements 1+ year of study towards diploma/bachelor degree, preferably in agriculture Class 5 driver's license and safe driving record Can lift and carry 50 lbs Farming background and/or crop scouting experience is an asset Willingness to operate equipment required to run/maintain the yard/chemical shed Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
