The Opportunity MicroResearch © (www.MicroResearch.ca) is a global health charitable organization initiative dedicated to training health and other professionals on community-based research to improve the health and well-being of all. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Scheduling of meetings, prepare, type and distribute correspondence, minutes, documents and reports with accuracy and high regard to confidentiality. Assist with maintaining program databases (e.g. project spreadsheets, participant spreadsheets, volunteer spreadsheets, publication list, semi-annual reports) Order inventory (like thank-you gifts, bags, USBs) Assist with the processing of new grant applications, circulating applications to appropriate reviewers, sending approvals and following up for ethics approval Filing and archiving agreements and reports as they arise for retrieval by others Assist with event and workshop organization and logistics Help manage accounts payable, receivable, billing requests, reimbursements, and other financial processes Maintain and update standardized communications templates and educational materials Other duties as required. Hours of Work 35% FTE Monday to Friday (13 hours per week) Your Qualifications Graduate from undergraduate university program, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work independently at home with minimum supervision is essential. Demonstrated accurate data entry skills and organization skills required. Ability to communicate effectively across different groups of people. Initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail. Competency in Microsoft Office programs required. Previous experience with financial processes an asset. Judgment, diplomacy and discretion in handling confidential information. Flexible hours but must occasionally be able to work business hours.
