Application Deadline: Monday, June 10, 2024 (we will review applications on a rolling-basis) Duration: 8 months Positions Available: 1 Start Date: Monday, September 9, 2024 We are seeking Co-op Students with a Business Administration or Industrial Engineering background to join our Work Management team in the Central Asset Management group. As a Co-op Student, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance of the QMS, including leading our Continuous Improvement (CI) processes and supporting quality assurance (QA) activities for Work Management. Depending on the needs and location of the team, you will need to work PDT or MDT or relocate to a specific office (site-based). You are currently a student enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and will be enrolled throughout the duration of the co-op term (you will also be returning back to the post-secondary institution once the co-op term is completed). Responsibilities Safety Leadership: Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Ad-hoc Support : Assist and support with ad-hoc requests Quality Management System: support the QMS documentation, feedback, and improvements Logs and maintains QM data from QA, such as audit comments, NCRs, CARs, etc. Assists with data monitoring, analysis, and trending to report on the performance of the QMS and identify improvements Maintains the Quality Management site and ensures easy access to up-to-date and relevant information for staff Assists with the control and management of QM functional documentation Visual Dashboards: Build visual dashboards using PowerBI to measure process adoption and improvements KBIs Reports: Update and improve Key Behaviour Indicators (KBI) reports Meeting Participation and Leading: Attend and drive meetings for process and change management performance discussions, ensuring accurate capture and distribution of meeting minutes, action items, and lessons learned Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering Spanish speaking is an asset Basic understanding or curiosity about project controls, scope management, and quality management Curiosity about project management systems and familiarity with various project execution phases Strong collaboration skills within diverse teams Proficiency in Microsoft Projects, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with PowerBI is advantageous Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Spanish is a plus Self-motivated and capable of balancing multiple tasks simultaneously Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms Precise communication in technical environments, making complex concepts accessible to diverse audiences Wage Range: $4600 - $5900 / Month Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
