Job Summary:The Digital Print Operator is responsible for processing print-ready files on production equipment.Shift Details:Sunday-Thursday (11 pm-7 am) - Night Shift OnlyPay: $20-25/hourResponsibilities: Follow a specific schedule to print production orders Operate Xerox Printers, Xerox iGen4 Color Printers and Ricoh IP5000 Color Continuous Inkjet System Printer set-up Submitting print files to printers Verify printer alignment is set up correctly and make adjustments if required Perform quality control checks to ensure the product is compliant Place Service Calls when required Clear out printer jams as required Scan job print tickets in BOWE One Fill out daily production logs Responsible for keeping work area organized and clean Adhere to all Health and Safety, Security policy and departmental procedures Follow remake procedures Assist in training new operators Attend DP Communication meetings Comply with Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures and report any Environmental, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to the immediate Supervisor Other duties as assigned Qualifications, Experience, and Educational Requirements:Work Experience: Color Management/Printing Operator Experience Skills and Competencies: Strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills Ability to: Run Xerox B/W printers, Xerox iGen4 and/or Ricoh continuous inkjet systems Work independently Multi-task Work in a fast-paced environment Must be detail-oriented Mathematical ability e.g. addition, subtraction, problem-solving Knowledge of computers Education: Completed high school diploma or some post-education is preferred Working Conditions: Clean Secure working environment Smock / Safety Shoes requirement Able to stay for overtime as needed Physical Requirements: Maybe required to lift up to 40lbs Standing for extended periods Flexible with switching shifts when required Language Requirement: EnglishAdditional Information: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
