Job Summary Now, if you were to come on board as our Facility Plumber , we’d ask you to do the following for us: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing system problems across multiple sites Performs assigned daily rounds and routines at various buildings such as inspection of normal operations of HVAC, AHU, Steam Boilers, Sump pit pumps, Building Automation System and all other facilities equipment and ancillaries. Assists with installation, modification, and troubleshooting of building equipment systems. Not limited to plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC. Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Ability and willingness to work extended hours. Be available to respond to emergencies and planned after hours work if needed. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to review and manage assigned work orders. Prioritize and track completion of building repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance tasks. Responsible for maintaining & keeping records of inventories and supply of HVAC filters, chemicals for water treatment of Steam Boilers and to provide order information to the manager of necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks Standard building operations tasks as needed.
