Pocketed is hiring a Partnerships & Growth Specialist to drive our continued growth! Today, more than 13,000 businesses use Pocketed to access over $100M in grant funding and tax credits to extend their runway and achieve their growth goals.  As our Partnerships & Growth Specialist, you will drive user acquisition at scale by developing strategic relationships with related organizations in the start-up and small and medium business ecosystem. Your prospects will include businesses that serve high volumes of small businesses and start-ups including industry associations, accelerators, incubators, chambers of commerce, and boards of trade. Your Key Responsibilities: As a Partnerships & Growth Specialist , you are responsible for driving Pocketed's growth through strategic partnerships: Partner Development:  Prospect, identify, and build relationships with key partners in the small and medium business and start-up ecosystems, getting them excited about the value of partnering with Pocketed. This will enable you to build and manage a healthy user acquisition pipeline. This includes setting partnership goals, negotiating agreements, and ensuring successful execution and collaboration. Partner Activation: Lead webinars, run virtual demos, and do what it takes to spread the word about Pocketed – making our partners’ lives easier and making them look good in the process. Partner Marketing and Promotion: Lead the development and execution of co-marketing initiatives with partners, including events, webinars, content collaborations, and promotional campaigns, to drive awareness and generate leads. Performance Measurement and Optimization: Work with our Head of Marketing to establish clear metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of partnership initiatives. Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize partnership strategies for maximum impact. Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to integrate partnership strategies with overall business goals. Facilitate the alignment of partner activities with Pocketed’s marketing campaigns and sales objectives. Learning & Development:  Staying fresh is critical! You will spend time researching our market, customers, and competitors to identify opportunities, strengths and weaknesses to inform our digital marketing strategy. This could include listening to podcasts, attending webinars, reading articles and more!  Your Qualifications: No previous partnerships experience? No problem! This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in sales, business development, or grant writing who is looking for a new challenge. You’re radically independent, resourceful, and a driven problem-solver ( Strong attention to detail & highly task oriented, you take ownership for your work and get the job done right! You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, team members, and other stakeholders. You’re data-driven, with experience setting and measuring KPIs related to partnership performance. You’re able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving startup environment, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in a partnerships, sales, or business development role is preferred. Your Benefits:   In this role you will work closely with a tight-knit founding team to rapidly design and build new generation solutions to real-world problems.
