We are currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative for our location Mississauga, ON. Description Prospecting – Use the Prospecting tools, Cognos, Salesforce and Mincron reports available to help manage the sales territory Use the necessary phone and field selling skills to sell our products and services to our customers. Maintain strong customer relationships by maintaining sales contacts as required by the position. Be ultimately responsible for the overall performance and development of assigned and newly developed accounts. Develop new business opportunities through cold calls and lead generation. Develop and execute a comprehensive monthly sales plan for their territory to service and expand our business with our existing as well as our new customers. The sales person will coordinate closely with our inside sales support team and our vendors to plan and execute the promotion of products and services to our customers. The development and execution of a detailed annual sales plan will be a critical requirement for this position. Organization - Organize sales activities so that face to face selling time to the customer is maximized. Participate in roofing, waterproofing and specifier related organizations to enhance sales growth opportunities Requirements Strong sales, presentation and telephone skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Exceptional organizational, time-management and multi-tasking capabilities Outstanding work ethic and high level of ambition Independent self-starter with a preference for initiating and setting own direction Highly motivated with unprecedented drive for results Ability to meet monthly targets Must have experience with reading and interpreting commercial construction specifications Strong industry knowledge with a proven track record, an asset Solid computer skills A reliable vehicle is required, car allowance and gas card provided Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Disability insurance Employee assistance program Extended health care Life insurance Paid time off RRSP match Store discount Vision care Schedule: 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Commission pay Experience: sales: 1 year (preferred)
