Overview Pembina has ongoing opportunities for Operators. Pembina's Conventional Pipeline assets comprise a strategically located network of pipelines and related infrastructure including various hubs and terminals. This network transports crude oil, condensate and NGL across much of Alberta and parts of British Columbia, Saskatchewan and North Dakota. This job posting is intended to act as a way for candidates to express interest in on going and future Operator roles and allows Pembina to connect with qualified candidates. Pembina will offer a relocation subsidy for individuals considering moving to Fort St. John, or Dawson Creek, and as part of a competitive total rewards package that includes base salary, short term incentives and long term incentives. To read more about our Life Saving Rules, visit pembina.com/safety Demonstrate Pembina’s values of Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative and Entrepreneurial Operate and maintain equipment and Company assets Perform all Operational duties as required on both LVP and HVP products Maintain clean pipelines by launching, receiving and repairing pipeline pigs Perform sampling of all products, test density, temperature, BS&W and RVP if required Ensure that facilities and pipeline equipment are maintained to Corporate standard Able to perform station truck unloading duties and support ensuring the truck terminal operates within existing Pembina standards Consistently demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and determine alterative solutions for operational issues in a safe, cost effective, and sustainable manner; Provide technical support for planning and scheduling work; Provide onsite direction, training, and mentorship for the team; Complete periodic reviews of existing tasks and ensure procedures are up to date; Assist in developing additional site-specific procedures and Task Hazard Assessments (THA’s) as needed to ensure work can be performed safely; Provide project support with the development of Task Hazard Assessments (THA’s) and design reviews; Assist Foreman in completion of incident and near miss investigations; Act as relief Foreman as required, with necessary responsibilities and authority; Complete monthly budgeting and forecasting duties; Complete ICS 300 and role-specific training for emergency response; Support and participate in Community Engagement activities; On-Call capability for XXXX assets; and Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace. What you bring to Pembina Operational experience in pipeline and/or midstream facilities; Demonstrated commitment and participation in Pembina safety programs; Experience using Pembina Maintenance Management and/or SAP system. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Comprehensive understanding of engineered drawings; Strong understanding of facility and/or pipeline operations, and the ability to direct operations/maintenance activities in accordance with Pembina’s specific operating practices and relevant industry standards and regulations; Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership skills; Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface positively with the local community and multiple support teams within Pembina; Technical certifications and/or journeyman tickets are considered an asset; and Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing which includes testing for marijuana metabolites. You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract. Applicants considered for positions must live within 100 km of the district location.
