Project Overview: (Share 2-3 sentences about the BUSINESS) We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Materials Chemist to join our growing team working on the development and characterization of porous materials. You will play a key role in synthesizing, optimizing, and analyzing these materials for direct air carbon capture (DAC). This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic research environment and contribute to cutting-edge projects with the potential for real-world impact. Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field. Experience in laboratory settings and familiarity with basic chemical equipment and techniques. Strong understanding of fundamental chemical principles and concepts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication and writing skills. Proficient in client Docs, Slides, and basic data analysis software. Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: (Skills that would be nice to have but are not essential in the role) Experience with specific characterization techniques like gas sorption, XRD, or NMR is a plus. Knowledge of porous materials and their applications is a plus but not required..
