What started as a part-time venture has blossomed into a complete building materials and hardware store, with locations in Upper Gullies, Harbour Main, Torbay Road in St. John's, and Main Road Goulds. Our commitment to quality, service, and community engagement has been the cornerstone of our success.Salary: $20 per hour Hours: 35 hours per weekKey Responsibilities: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Hickey's Timber Mart brand and products Create engaging content for social media platforms, website, email campaigns, and advertising materials Coordinate marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional advertising, events, and promotions Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer preferences Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with business objectives Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and advertising Qualifications: Previous experience in marketing or related field (preferred) Strong creative and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of the building materials or retail industry (an asset)
