You just get on.” Duties and Responsibilities Assembling high-pressure tubing and electro-mechanical process control components (such as valves and fittings) Fabricating brackets, stands and other custom-designed metal components Safely conducting pressure and leak testing of completed assemblies Testing supplied components for quality and conformance Completing production records such as inspection test reports, material traceability logs, and as-built assembly drawings Receiving and maintaining component inventory and shop supplies Preparing equipment for shipment Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Skills and Experience - Required Post-secondary technical education Able to read mechanical drawings Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to process and detail Experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment Skills and Experience - Preferred Experience with pipefitting and/or compression fittings Experience in steel fabrication techniques (welding, machining, forming, cutting, grinding, etc.) Working with pressurized gases or fluids, hydrogen in particular Ability to drive a forklift Good knowledge of safety and WHMIS regulations #LI-onsitePowered by JazzHR
