We're seeking a seasoned deal sourcing professional with over 5 years of demonstrable experience, ready to drive impactful change within the entrepreneurial sphere of M&A and corporate investing. Role Overview: As Manager of Origination, your primary responsibility is to cultivate and nurture opportunities for our M&A advisory team. Your days will be spent actively identifying and engaging with promising business owners and operators, both outbound and client-facing. This role demands focus, determination, and a proactive approach to handling both inbound and outbound leads. Key Skills and Qualifications: Proven ability to effectively engage and influence prospects via phone and email, building trust over time. Capacity to manage your own pipeline and strategically move opportunities towards closure. Exceptional documentation skills to accurately record and analyze interactions with prospects. Strong oral and written communication skills. Highly organized with a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn. Business acumen, adept at asking pertinent questions and actively listening. Familiarity with mergers & acquisitions and capital markets, coupled with sector-specific knowledge, is advantageous.
