About the Opportunity Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Maintenance Systems, the Maintenance Coordinator performs a variety of duties necessary to maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all Nova Scotia Health facilities’ assets. Creates Preventative Maintenance Procedures & Instructions to support the Maintenance & Operations Teams. Updates and maintains documents as needed. About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following: Graduate from a related, recognized trade program Red Seal certification would be considered an asset Maintenance Coordinator role is a Provincial role to support all zones. Travel between sites & throughout provincial zones may be required, access to reliable transportation required. 3-year Building Maintenance Experience required, preferably in a Healthcare Facility. Competent computer knowledge & experience required, with experience in Excel, CMMS & SAP. Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications. Hours Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly Compensation and Incentives $27.44 - $32.65 Hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
