Here are some key accountabilities of the role:This position is responsible for identifying, analyzing, documenting, and supporting the field in systematic fraud investigations and schemes that have high impact on TJX Canada Loss Prevention objectives. This role is also responsible for providing actionable insights to investigation partners through analysis and research, to resolve refund fraud schemes, credit card fraud activity and schemes, and brand protection/intellectual property frauds.Responsible for using and maintaining the resources of LP Systems, video, and analytics to detect systemic and complex frauds; supporting the field organization to effectively combat fraud schemes. Produces fraud leads through analytics work using business intelligence to support investigations team.Conducts analysis by reviewing fraud reports, video surveillance for patterns to detect and investigate external fraud and other losses. Reports suspected and proven incidents of fraud and other losses to appropriate members of LP, for investigation and resolutionProvides additional investigative, technical, and training support to field LP as required to help build investigative capability amongst the LP teamsProduces reporting and analysis of results, statistics, performance, training, and other relevant measures within the LP business to provide findings on trends, drive compliance and promote fraud prevention.Creates Fraud packages that contain case summaries and evidence gathered through investigations and provides to police liaison for further investigationMaintains accurate records and statistics related to investigations and criminal activity.Ensures proper handling and containment of extremely sensitive and confidential information and data. What you'll need To begin your career with us, we require the following:Proven experience in retail investigations and experience with Internal or External Corporate Fraud Investigations. Consideration will also be given to Loss Prevention Managers with a proven history of successfully completing investigations.Experience with business intelligence and data analysis related to providing actionable data to investigate all forms of theft and fraud.Post-Secondary Education in a related discipline is preferred; experience in lieu of post-secondary education will be considered.Knowledge of the global and national retail landscape and market trends to support the development of future strategies and make business recommendations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including interviewing, negotiating, listening, conflict management, information gathering and coaching; the ability to influence business partners to help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization needs, build rapport and credibility as a trusted advisor.Strong problem-solving skills including analysis of information (i.e. requirements; description of problems); provide solutions with cost implications to effectively resolve issues and execute strategic solutions. Salary Range: $58,910 - $82,472**This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
