The Integrated Workforce Planning (IWP) team works collaboratively within our network and connections, to co-design workforce solutions and make strategic recommendations. Our goal is to support operational partners with the information they need to proactively align and monitor supply and demand. The team supports both clinical and non-clinical workforces within the organization. The IWP helps to define key workforce priorities for the organization, in order to meet its mission, vision and values. About the Opportunity Reporting to Manager, Integrated Workforce Planning, the Integrated Workforce Planning Consultant supports Integrated Workforce Planning (IWP), Interprofessional Practice and Learning (IPPL), and People Services (PS) in successfully meeting workforce demand, to ensure patients receive the right care, from the right provider at the right time. The Integrated Workforce Planning Consultant plays a key role in ensuring that operational insight is integrated into all workforce planning activities. With a focus on continuous improvement and data-informed decision support, this role collaborates with operational leaders, and other key stakeholders within their assigned geography, to ensure there is capacity in the system to hire and onboard new staff and to support learners and students to complete unpaid clinical placements. The Integrated Workforce Planning Consultant supports their local leaders with operationalizing workforce planning activities, and actively engages operational partners in data validation. The Integrated Workforce Planning Consultant identifies challenges and opportunities related to workforce demand in their assigned region, and collaborates with IPPL, IWP, People Services and other stakeholders to determine appropriate mitigation and adaptation strategies. About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following: Post-secondary education in the areas of Communications, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or Business Administration required. Equivalencies of education or experience may be considered. Current registration with professional association required if applicable. 2-5 years’ experience in health care and/or project management capacity. Knowledge translation skills, able to tailor presentation of data and analytics to a diverse audience. Flexible and adaptable working style, comfortable working in an environment that is changing and evolving. Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation or adaptation strategies to facilitate the achievement of operational targets. Knowledge and understanding of health professions is an asset. Strong organizational and process management skills. Sound knowledge and skill working in a team setting. Ability to think critically, quickly, and accurately; creative problem-solving ability. Demonstrated leadership in facilitation with multiple stakeholders and service providers. Proven ability to build, enhance, foster, and maintain effective relationships. Superior communication skills – written, oral, presentation. Ability to work independently and identify priorities. Experience with project management and/or coordination would be considered an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel), email, internet. Skills and experience in promoting learning cultures that nurture equity, diversity and inclusivity with a focus on intersectional values, analysis, and actions, clinical humility, and the responsible use of power and privilege. Ability to navigate change and support change management initiative.
