Fusion Security is seeking high-level security team members who already have their Marine Transportation Security Clearance (MTSC) to work in and around Vancouver. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: High-visibility patrol of assigned areas, on foot and in vehicles Ensure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public Respond against theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire Monitor property access control Investigate and report suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches Enforce client policies Communicate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments Concierge/ administrative duties as directed QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Security Workers License in the Province of BC MTSC - Marine Transportation Security Clearance (Government Security clearance) Class 5 BC Driver's licence and a reliable vehicle OFA 1 or higher is an asset AST (Advanced Security Training) license is an asset SKILLS & ABILITIES: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written, including report-writing) Fluent command of the English language Ability to demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making skills in sensitive situations and/or emergency incidents Must be able to work independently and as a team member Ability to resolve conflict through negotiation and diplomacy Ability to work in all types of weather and environmental conditions (rain, snow, sun, wind, odorous) Own a smart phone with a data plan on a major carrier (1Gig of data use reimbursed monthly) COMPANY PERKS: Competitive Pay Rate Health Benefits Plan for full-timers (we pay your premium) Paid Training Fitness Centre Membership (at Head Office) Referral Bonus Program To be considered for this position, you must submit your current resume with a cover letter stating the reasons why you think you would be the best candidate for the position.
