The successful candidate will join four other Family Physicians, one Nurse Practitioner, a Family Practice Nurse, one Social Worker, and a part-time Dietician. This office is in a brand-new space which offers ocean views! This opportunity awaits the right candidate who is looking for the chance to join a busy and exciting collaborative practice. Responsibilities delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members Qualifications all applicants must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) all family physicians must have membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Community Details Failte (that’s “welcome”, for those not up to speed on their Gaelic)! Glace Bay, located on Cape Breton Island, is one of the communities in the Eastern Zone. Kitchen parties are a way of life in this quaint and historic mining town.
