About the Opportunity This position aids in overall patient care by performing clerical functions including but not limited to registration, communications (switchboard) and other health information related duties such as dispositions and generating reports as required. Cross training with ER Registration is required. About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following: Grade 12 or equivalent plus completion of a recognized office procedure/secretarial program, or 1 year previous clerical/administration experience is required Demonstrated skills and experience with Windows and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook required Graduate of an approved Medical Terminology program is required Maintains high degree of confidentiality at all times is required Related hospital exposure is considered an asset Strong organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks required Demonstrated skill in working collaboratively and effectively with others Ability and willingness to meet challenges and adapt to changing situations essential An equivalent combination of education and training may be considered for this position Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred No Travel required Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications. Hours Casual relief positions Days, Evenings, Night Shifts, Holidays and Weekends included; 8 hour and 12 hour shifts Compensation and Incentives $22.89 - 24.88 Hourly Once You've Applied Thank you for your interest in this position.
