Salary and Benefits Salary: $30.00 per hourOvertime and Vacation PayStable & full-time employmentWork-life balance through flexible and accommodating work environment.Referral Bonus: $1000.00 CAD (for current employees). Relocation Assistance: $1500.00 CAD (for qualified candidates coming from different cities, provinces, or regions). Job Responsibilities Measure cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings. Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs. Coordinate work procedures for drywall installation and removal. Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound. Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in the compound. Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry. Install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings. Prepare surfaces for drywall installation by removing old or damaged materials, ensuring proper insulation, and inspecting for any potential issues. Repair and patch existing drywall surfaces, blending new materials with the existing structure to achieve a seamless appearance. Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment to maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment. Work collaboratively with other construction team members to ensure the timely completion of projects. Job Requirements Completion of secondary school. Completion of apprenticeship program in the trade or Minimum 2 years of work experience in trade. Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction/repair of houses and buildings. Effective communication skills. Capacity to work in various job site conditions and adapt to changes in project requirements or specifications. How to apply?
