They believe in providing comprehensive and exemplary patient care to the patients in their community. This practice stays on the cutting edge, with the latest and greatest diagnostic testing equipment. This practice also has the ability to adapt to an optometrist wishing to specialize in a subspecialty such as dry eye. With a full staff to provide complete support to the optometrist, this opportunty is perfect for the optometrist looking to walk in to a clinic and have a busy-full schedule. This opportunity is unique and offers a lot of opportunity for the optometrist to grow in their profession! Potential earnings between $200,000 - $300,000 per year! Optometrist Responsiblilities: Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation. Diagnose and treat ocular disease, and prescribe medication as needed. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids. Provide advise, answer questions, and recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options. Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and challenges with prescription for eyewear or corrective lenses. Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions. Referring patients to ophthalmologists or other medical specialists as necessary. Providing ongoing maintenance care before and after cataract or refractive surgery. Monitoring of glaucoma, macular degeneration or other systemic issues in conjunction with medical physicians.
