We are actively seeking a Cook on behalf of our client, to prepare delicious and high-quality dishes while maintaining kitchen standards and hygiene in their culinary operation. If you are a skilled and passionate cook, we'd like to connect you with this culinary opportunity.Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting- Restaurant Tasks- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies Inspect kitchens and food service areas Train staff in the preparation, cooking and handling of food Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Clean kitchen and work areas Transportation/travel information- Public transportation is available Work conditions and physical capabilities- Attention to detail Fast-paced environment Handling heavy loads Standing for extended periods Health benefits- Health care plan Long-term benefits- Group insurance benefits Other benefits- Learning/training paid by employer Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week
