Company Location: #103 - 12889 84 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 0K5 Position: Construction HelperTerms of employment: Full-Time; Permanent Salary: $28.85 per hour Number of positions: 5 Start date: As soon as possible Work location(s): Candidates are required to work in Surrey, BC, and various other locations in the Lower Mainland (BC) area as per the companys contracts with its clients. Position responsibilities: Assist skilled tradesmen in their activities at construction sites and provide equipment, supplies, and other required materials to them as required. Prepare the construction site by cleaning obstacles and hazards to maintain a clean and safe job site. Move materials to work sites and load and unload construction supplies. Put up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades at construction sites Mix, pour, and spread construction materials. Remove rubble and debris from the work site. Clean work areas, machines, and equipment, and store construction tools at the designated area of work sites at the end of the shift. Position requirements: Some work experience as a construction laborer would be an asset. Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and in all weather conditions.Note: If any of the current employees of Phoenix Homes (2011) Ltd. makes a referral that results in to hire, the company will pay a $500 referral to that employee. Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1500.00 for qualified candidates.
