We are seeking highly motivated and dynamic Instructors to join our studio! Scheduling is flexible, and blocks of classes are available if it is preferred by you (3-5 classes in a row). The ideal candidate will have a passion for Pilates and helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. If you are a professional Pilates instructor who is energetic, friendly, willing to learn, build relationships with potential and existing clients, sell classes and lead dynamic apparatus focused workout routines (we use Balanced Body reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, spring boards, ballet barre and more), you’ll be a great addition to our team. We are looking for instructors with confidence in working with all level of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner. Club Pilates offers blocked scheduling and shifts, the ability to teach multiple level classes, club membership, continuing education, employee status (not independent contractor), room for growth and a supportive & fun environment! Responsibilities Provide Pilates instruction to include intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training as scheduled by a management and pursuant to Club Pilates standards Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including, but not limited to, hand weights, Exo-Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experience Visually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use Responsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by studio management Must arrive at a set time prior to the beginning of each scheduled class or private/semi-private session Participate in networking/community events as needed and studio promotions to generate new business Stay up to date with, and implement Club Pilates education standards at all times Qualifications 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education (Minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Chair, and Springboard) Up to date CPR training or willingness to obtain Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills Experience teaching in an apparatus-based class Maintain open availability for a minimum of 6 hours (2 shifts) per week Demonstrated group reformer instruction abilities Professional and effective communication skills In depth understanding of the benefits of Pilates Comfortable adding TRX, Barre, and Trigger Point modalities to teaching repertoire Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars Ability to implement and streamline new procedures in a diverse environment Ability to recognize areas of improvement and pro-actively communicate with management Consistently uses excellent judgment Compensation and Benefits: This position offers a very competitive per class rate and commissions Flexible scheduling that works for you Blocks of classes (2-5 at at time) Complementary membership Hours: 8-25 per weekJob Types: Part-timeSchedule:• Day shift• Evening shift• Weekend availabilityPlease provide a copy of your certifications along with your application.Powered by JazzHR
