This is a casual position to get trained at all hospital for patient watch and hospital facilities. What's in it for you? Interior and exterior foot patrols of the full building Access control at all entry and exit points, ensuring doors are secure Communicate effectively with ability to engage and to de-escalate situations to on-going situations that can happen on site Must provide high level of customer service in a challenging environment, greeting people and directing them to the right place. CCTV camera monitoring Will respond to various site emergencies (codes), and when required, immediately coordinating with the site security, and calling backup in order to ensure security of patients, visitors, staff, property and information. Will need to observe presence of any suspicious person, things, unusual activity, or issues if seen at the site, and respond to the situation, and manage immediate coordination and reporting to site security. Incident and daily reporting according to the site requirement and standards. Patient watches Qualifications to be become Security Guard in Winnipeg? Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard license Fluent in English, both written and orally High school education or equivalent Strong customer service skills Experience using a two way radio First Aid/CPR is an asset Experience with security technology based systems and CCTV camera monitoring Comfortable approaching unauthorized individuals on site Flexible to work days, evenings and nights and respond to last minute requests from our clients SSWINN
