Job Requirements:Language: English Education:Secondary (High) School graduation certificate Experience: 3 Years to less than 5 Years Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:Candidate must be able to complete tight deadlines in a physically demanding work environment and handle a combination of sitting, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling throughout the duration of the shift. Work Location Information:Various Locations Personal Suitability:Be reliable, a team player and have good judgement skills Major Work Area:Construction Specific Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measuring, cutting, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring and installing walls and roofing systems. Repairing and renovating wooden structures. Preparing cost. Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Safety conscious and willing to follow all safety policies and procedures. Strong working knowledge of framing and foundation components. Complete other duties as directed by Construction Supervisor.
