Location: Lower Mainland, B.C. Sharkbite Renovations Ltd. located in Surrey, B.C. urgently requires 3 Permanent & Full Time, Carpenters. Our company deals with residential projects, from multiunit developments, and single-family custom homes, to restoration and renovation services. We do structural upgrades, renovations, framing, formwork, and mill work along with Custom houses and general contracting. Wage - $30.00/hrWork Term: PermanentWork Language: EnglishHours: 30-40 hours per weekEducation: Secondary (high) school graduation certificateExperience: 1 to less than 7 monthsWork site environmentVarious locations: Industrial, Residential,Tasks Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Prepare tenders and quotations Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Instruct apprentices Supervise other workers Estimate costs and materials Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools Equipment and machinery experience Power tools Work conditions and physical capabilities Bending, crouching, kneeling Handling heavy loads Large workload Physically demandingPersonal suitability Accurate Reliability Team player Values and ethics Workplace informationOn the road jobPlease send your resume to Harpreet Singh at Transportation to and from the job location is provided at free of cost in company vehicle.
