The Urban Water Truck Operator performs a variety of tasks while working outside in variable conditions. The job scope is approximately 60% labour and 40% operator related tasks. Previous experience hauling liquid loads would be considered an asset. This position requires a minimum Class 3 license Job Overview and Responsibilities Drive and maintain tandem water truck, including loading and unloading Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers hours, and occupational health & safety Maintain daily logs as required, inspection logs and other necessary paperwork Load, unload and move construction materials around worksite as required Occasional operation of some heavy equipment (rollers, skid steers etc.) Comply with safe working procedures and practices Requires a flexible work schedule including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required during the construction season (May November) Other duties as required PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO LOCAL CANDIDATES Job Posted by ApplicantPro
