We are seeking a CAD Technologist to create and maintain manufacturing drawings in a dynamic production facility. You will collaborate with engineers, technologists, and operation personnel to translate design concepts and operational requirements into detailed technical drawings. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain Inventor/AutoCAD drawing files, customer supplied drawings and parts system libraries Maintain and update drawing filing system Assist in the development of drafting standards Check new drawings and documentation when required and ensure correctness and conformance to the latest ISO specifications. Requisition material by providing accurate and timely sketches and specifications for long lead time raw materials and purchased goods. Preparation of production related information including Drawing Release, Material Requisitions, Profile Point Data etc. Assist in the development and maintenance of drafting technical and time standards Troubleshoot problems with workflow, drawing specifications and layout. Qualifications CAD Technologist Diploma Microsoft Office Suite literacy Working knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor Knowledge of the use of Coordinate Measuring Machines/Tools will be considered an asset Competencies Capability to work with moderate supervision in a fast paced environment Exceptional written and oral communication skills Proven ability to organize and facilitate multiple projects in an accurate timely manner.
