Here's how a Building Systems Coordinator for our Winnipeg office contributes to our team: Responsibilities Assist project team with coordination of building systems trades for compliance to drawings, specifications, quality, and schedule. Assist with coordination drawing process. Reads and understands the building systems trade contractor quality-management programs. Witnesses on-site field testing and records results. Oversee commissioning process, including scheduling, testing activities, and project close out. Chair various meetings related to building systems. Assist project team with building systems commissioning document deliverables. Attends management and architect meetings related to building systems. Adheres and supports internal safety programs. Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues. Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders, including owners, consultants, jurisdiction authorities and trades. Qualifications Tradesperson or post-secondary diploma/degree in a related discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, controls) is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Co-op or relevant experience in a construction environment preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems. Familiarity with construction progress and sequencing. Effective verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a face-paced environment. Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines, and delegate tasks. Ability to quickly adapt and become proficient with new software. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
