Position Overview: Elevate the bar experience at Playground as a Barback , where your role will ensure seamless bar operations. Your dedication to maintaining a clean and organized bar area and supporting bartenders in serving drinks efficiently will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service. Wash and shine glassware. Keep the wine cellars, the fridges and the backbar as full as possible. Assist the bartender(s) by cleaning up and resetting tables. Start to learn both food and beverage menus to be able to help the bartender(s) in case of very busy moments. Allow the bartender(s) to focus on service by providing them help by any means possible. Requirements : Must be bilingual (English and French) and 18 years or older. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of the shift. Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
