Titanium Ford is looking to hire a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician . We are a busy established Ford Dealership in Surrey, BC. Preference given to dealer (especially Ford specialty) experience and training. And if you are a qualified Ambulance Repair Technician we looking for that skill too. We offer a very competitive wage (flat rate per hour $38.00 to $45.50) and benefit package and the Ford Dealer Pension Plan as well. More importantly, we have the hours as well! Responsibilities: Promotes dealership by presenting professional image, positive attitude, and clean work area Road tests vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly Suggests additional work that is needed to the Service Advisor or Shop Foreman so thecustomer may be notified. Completes service and repair assignments correctly, to pass quality inspections or test drives Collects all necessary information before requesting parts (e.g., model year, etc.) Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools; keeps tools in good working order Notifies shop foreman and service advisor if delays are expected Maintains cleanliness of the customer's vehicle Submits all claims promptly Promotes a productive working relationship with others Actively listens to concerns; takes action to respond to others’ needs Speaks clearly, concisely, and effectively Provides clear and legible record of service completed for both customer and dealership use Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening Assists Service Advisors, if necessary, to explain completed repairs to a customer Assists other technicians when needed. Requirements: Achieving high standards Can work independently and as part of a team Automotive technician: 4 years (Required) BC Driver's License (Required) Red Seal Certified or equivalent or Ford Certified Training (Required) Ford Dealer: 1 year (Preferred) Dealership Experience (Preferred) Tools required to perform repairs and services Wage: Dependent on experience; $90,000 to $140,500 per year Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Overtime pay Retention bonus Benefits: Company events Company pension Dental care Extended health care Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: Position is in Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Titanium Ford Sales offers many automotive products and services to the City of Surrey and the surrounding area.
