With a broad range of staff experience and state-of-the-art instrumentation, we provide cross-analytical solutions for the Environmental, Energy, Mining, Transportation, Industrial, Agri-food and Life Sciences sectors. AGAT is hiring for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance team working out of our Calgary corporate office. In this position, the ideal candidate will have some previous working experience in receivables and collections. Along with strong customer services skills as this role requires one to regularly interact directly with clients. Responsible for: Daily collection contacts by email and phone. Utilizing digital submission systems (e.g. Open Invoice, Cortex.) Managing to monthly collection targets. Handling client requests. Processing new client applications. Maintaining client records and accounts. Assist with month-end close. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of accounts receivable/general accounting experience is preferred. Outstanding communication skills. Ability to speak and read French a definite asset. Experience with high volume collections an asset. Strong attention to detail. Intermediate level of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with ACCPAC is an advantage. Experience with Digital Submission Systems (e.g. Open Invoice, Cortex) is an advantage. Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment. Mature work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment. Why Work for AGAT?
