Title : Accounting Analyst Work location : Kenworth Montreal (7500 Rte Transcanadienne, Saint-Laurent, QC H4T 1A5, Canada) Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00PM Salary: between $65-75K Benefits : Permanent, 40h/week ; Monday to Friday, flexibility with daytime schedule but usual schedule is 8:30AM to 5:00PM (8h/day) ; Salary between $ 65-75K, possibility of + depending on experience ; Possibility to work from home : 2 days at home and 3 days at work ; 2 weeks of vacation ; 5 days of paid leave ; 12 statutory holidays ; Being paid weekly ; On-site parking ; Reimbursement of 0.58$/km if traveling for work-related purposes ; Insurance (medical, dental, divison, etc.) covered 100% by the employer ; Telemedecine and employee assistance program ; RSSP matching program ; School tuition fees reimbursement ; Be coached and mentored by truck experts ; Professional development and career growth within the company ; Corporate events (Christmas Party, Family Day event, etc.). Summary of responsibilities: Play a key role in the process of purchase invoices’ recordings and truck sales transactions, including calculating the sales representatives’ commissions ; Build trusted relationships with our suppliers by processing O&I and inventory invoices in a manner that meets payment deadlines, as well as performing routine supplier statements’ audits ; Process employee expense accounts by validating that the expense classification, tax processing and supporting documents provided are adequate ; Ensure financial statement integrity by tracking, reconciling and accounting analysis of various assigned GL accounts, including tracking prepaid accounts; Play a key role in the closing process of the accounting month by recording the necessary amounts; Actively participate in the implementation, execution and monitoring of internal controls across our seven branches to ensure financial statement integrity ; On a monthly-basis, travel to other branches (Laval, Vaudreuil, St-Eustache, Mirabel, St-Jérôme, Lanoraie). Qualifications: DEC in Accounting or BAC in Accounting (an asset) ; 3 to 5 years accounting experience ; Experience in accounts payable (an asset) ; Good knowledge of IT tools including advanced Excel ; French and English (speak, write and read – intermediate level as you will need to communicate with suppliers outside of Quebec in the processing/validating of their financial account) Access to a vehicule for traveling purposes ; Who are we ?
