Curry (initially named Sakari) is approximately 6 years old and is located in the Toronto area. He is a very sweet boy who attaches to his human(s) and loves to have company. He's likely a lab mix. Curry is a quiet dog that has been working on his confidence. With guidance from his humans he can face the things that initially cause him to feel unsure, and then manages well. He has been working with a trainer and has made SO much progress. We will include some training support in his adoption, to ensure consistency in approach and to set everyone up for success. Curry walks well on a leash, and is neutral towards other dogs. He would be very happy as the only dog in the house, but can coexist with other dogs, becoming playful with dogs that are a good match for him. He's not comfortable around cats. Curry loves agility work! While at first unsure, he's quick to master agility equipment and then loves it, squealing, wagging his tail and exuding pride in his accomplishments. Curry would do best in a quiet, adult-only home. He's a very sweet boy who is cuddly and makes a wonderful companion. This boy needs a patient adopter (or adopters) who will let him settle in and get comfortable, while providing him with structure and predictability to his day. The adopter(s) will be rewarded with the bestest boy, who will be the most loving and loyal companion. Please don't overlook him as he is a really sweet dog.
