Reason for Intake: Have 2 small children now and yard and home is too small for both large dogs Up to Date with Vetting: Yes Good with dogs: Yes. Living with a senior, male Husky mix. Good with cats: Yes. Good with kids: Yes. The family has a 2 and 4 year old. He is fine with them Good with strangers: Yes. He eagerly greets them Resource guarding issues: Not from people or the other dog.Ever bitten a human: NoEver bitten a dog: No Fears: none Housetrained: Yes. Used to toileting on walks. Crate trained: Yes but not used recently Good in the car: not a lot of experience; sometimes barks and whinesBark when left alone: No. Destructive: He has chewed his bed but not in the past year or so.Energy Level: Medium Leash skills: He walks well on leash but will pull to chase squirrels. He is often walked with the other dog. He is fine if off leash dogs run up to him on walks. Okay with physical handling/manipulations: OK for baths and being brushed. He is OK to have ear drops and his ears cleaned.
