Hola!! My name is Mila and here is some info about me:PHYSICAL INFO: Breed: Terrier Mix Age: 2 years 9 months approx. Gender: Female Weight: 42 lbs (19kg) Current Location: Guadalajara Mexico RESCUE STORY - My kind-hearted rescuers found me wandering by a very busy road where I had a high chance of getting run over, yikes!! Thankfully they scooped me up right in time and brought me to a shelter with some other doggos. I had been chilling by the road on my own for a few days and, as I'm such a sweetheart and SO loving, it's likely that I was previously someone's pet and they chose to abandon me there...Despite my tough life, I can be found hanging out with my doggy and hooman friends with a BIG smile on my face (see pics). Now, there is nothing I would love more than a new family to call my own. TEMPERAMENT - I am a real smiley love bug and a very relaxed pup. I have been described as calm and chilled (some would even say a zen doggo) but I also know how to have fun! Once I'm outside with my doggy friends (who I LOVE to play with) I can get little bursts of energy and do lots of happy jumps (really I'm just so happy to be here and just really want to share some love!!). I also luuuuuuv toys :)ENERGY LEVEL - Low to MediumGETS ALONG WITH: Kids – Unknown Dogs – Oh yes! You can see how much I like other doggos here . Cats – Yep, I'm pretty unbothered by cats as you can see here . PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around cats/squirrels/rabbits etc. My adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise.TRAINING: Leash skills – As you can see , I do pretty well on a leash, but may still need some training! House trained – My rescuers say I do well with not having accidents inside, but I may still need some work on this. Frequent potty breaks and positive reinforcement will help me learn in my new home :) Resource guarding: I'm not a fan of sharing my food and may need some extra patience and training with this. Please Note: WCP Dog Rescue partners with Unleashed Dog Training (Hannah Swain) to offer adopters one training session at a rate of $25. Any subsequent sessions will be offered at a rate of $50. WCP also highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives. HEALTH NOTES: I am spayed and vaccinated. NOTE: dogs from Guadalajara are not microchipped. NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter.
