Adopt Fennec a Tan/Yellow/Fawn Mixed Breed (Medium) / Mixed dog in Hamilton

Fennec is currently being fostered in TEXAS.Fennec is a fox like little cub who we call Fenny. He is a tad shy at first but warms up quickly. He is approximately 5 - 8 months old and 8.3 pounds. We believe Fenny will be a medium size dog weighing apx 35 pounds. He was rescued from Atascosa Animal Shelter. He did have his mom and other siblings at the shelter, along with other dogs from the same property that were confiscated from an animal cruelty case. None of the rescues in the area could take all of these dogs, It would have been too much so we got together and everybody took a couple dogs. We took Fenny and his sister Foxy. The other dogs were all 25-40 pounds max so we know he will not be too too giant. Him and his sister were the smallest of the group and they were very sickly. These two were just skin and bones and covered in parasites. They were so malnourished that we had to slow feed them a tablespoon at a time of food or they would overeat and vomit. It had taken some time to get them into full recovery, but they are happy, healthy puppies now and ready for their forever home. These pups are great with cats, kids, dogs and just adore people and attention. They are well rounded and well mannered little puppies that love treats, play time, toys and attention. Both have been raised with chi chi’s and do well with both small and large dogs. They follow dog cues very well.
