Avery came to us as a local surrender due to her medical needs. Since being with us she has bonded with so many people and has touched the hearts of everyone who has met her. She is very loving and is the best cuddler! When she isn't cuddling with a staff member you can find her wrestling or taking one of many naps in her donut bed. Avery is fully deaf and is also losing her vision. At this time she can see shadows and figures. Due to her vision loss she has developed reactivity towards vehicles and strangers. Her future family will need to live a quiet lifestyle and be comfortable working on slow, careful introductions with her. Avery can be wary around other dogs, and while we are still evaluating her, we believe it may be best for her to be the only dog in the home. Avery comes with many challenges, but her loyal demeanor makes her worth it!
