NUTMEG IS PART OF A BONDED PAIR WITH THEODORE (FF2358), THEY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.Nutmeg is a beautiful, medium haired calico. Nutmeg came into care at roughly six weeks old. The kittens had no socialization and were semi-feral. Nutmeg was the shyest of the kittens and still doesn't like to be touched. She is a sweet cat, loves to play and loves other cats. She needs a home that will let her continue to grow at her very slow pace. Nutmeg would do best in an adult only home given how timid she is. She loves to chase light beams and watch the birds outside. She is also an excellent bug catcher.Adoption processAll adoptions begin with an adoption application, available here or on our website (or from one of our wonderful volunteers in person). The application is reviewed by the adoptable animal's foster home as well as by the appropriate coordinator (canine/feline/small animal) to assess how the animal will fit in your home. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours, but being 100% run by volunteers sometimes we need additional time--if you haven't heard back after 48 hours, feel free to contact us to check in on your application. All dogs and puppies have an adoption fee of $300, kittens under 6 months of age have an adoption fee of $250, and cats over 6 months of age have an adoption fee of $200, unless otherwise noted.
