Emma is a shy girl that has been born and raised in foster care. She has been spayed and is now ready to find her forever home. She is skittish at first, but loves a good bum scratch when she is comfortable with the humans she is around. Emma would love another feline in her home that will help bring her out of her shell. Her feline friend in the home would need to be passive and easy going as Emma can be dominate in her feline relationships. This cute ball of fur loves to bounce around chasing her toys and run through tunnels. She would be best in a home with older children (10+). Emma also loves a good cat tree, she enjoys being in high places! Emma does have chronic upper respiratory but currently does not require any treatment for this. Adoption processWe require potential adopters to fill out an pre-adoption application. If that application is approved, the dog/cat must be spayed/neutered before it leaves our shelter (if not already done). If it is a puppy under 4 months old, we allow it to go home with the adopters under a foster care agreement until it is old enough to be returned for spay/neuter. Kittens are allowed to leave before spay/neuter is done, but they must be done within a certain time frame.Fees: Dogs/puppies range from $150-300, depending on if they came in already spayed/neutered or if we paid to have that done. Cats range from $80 - $140, though we often have deals on older cats or cats that have been there a long time.Kittens are $60 with $25 refunded once it has been spayed/neutered.All adoptions include at least the first vaccination, deworming, de-fleaing, microchip ID, and 6 weeks of pet insurance.Shelter locationWe are located at 34 Wallbridge-Loyalist Road in Belleville.
