To meet the needs of our business, we are growing our team and have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist, eCommerce to join us at our Mississauga office. In this role you will support the building and managing of several of our e-commerce businesses, support the deployment of new and innovative technologies, drive sales, and improve customer background. The Specialist, eCommerce will support in building and managing of several e-commerce businesses including Sobeys & Safeway On-line Entertaining, Sobeys & Safeway Floral and Rachelle Béry. In addition, the Specialist, eCommerce will support in evaluating and deploying new, innovative e-commerce solutions that will improve the customer background and drive significant sales. Job overview The Specialist, eCommerce will have the following accountabilities: • Compile Industry/Competitive Tracking Reports (i.e. evolving customer needs, emerging technologies and competitor offerings) • Collect and present data that will be used to evaluate opportunities • Develop User Acceptance Testing test cases • Complete User Acceptance Testing of all new product features and defect fixes • Organize internal and external stakeholders’ meetings • Analyze management reporting/analytics and make recommendations on how to improve business performance • Support the prioritization and grooming of the Product Roadmap backlog • In collaboration with IT and external partners, support the development and deployment of new product features • Prioritize and groom Defects backlog • Support evaluation and deployment of new e-commerce solutions • Support day to day business relationship with technology partners Position responsibilities • 3-5yrs of business management, marketing background or product management (e-commerce, digital, mobile an asset) • Strong written/verbal communications skills • Enjoy issue solving and working on projects from beginning to end • Knowledge and/or background in e-commerce or digital marketing an asset • IT background, QA or UAT Testing, customer service, and/or project managerial experience an asset • Bachelor degree or equivalent background • Multi-lingual (English/French) an asset • Entrepreneurial, independent self-starter Sobeys is committed to accommodating candidates with disabilities throughout the hiring process and will work with candidates requesting accommodation at any stage of this process.
