With office locations across Canada, we provide our clients with flexible IT solutions that drive results.Role:Our Client is currently seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator (Contract) in Edmonton, AB starting on or around November 12, 2019 to June 30, 2020. The perfect applicant will have 5+ years' background building, maintaining, supporting and administration Microsoft SharePoint On-line. In addition, you will have background with SharePoint migration background and Office 365. All candidates must be available to interview at our clients site in Edmonton, AB and be legally entitled to work in Canada.Applications will be accepted until: Friday, November 1, 2019.General Responsibilities: Evaluate customer qualifications and provide effective/advanced SharePoint solutions. Architect and design SharePoint sites. Develop SharePoint governance, best practice and security matrix. Assist in creating divisional strategy for SharePoint roles and responsibilities. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Manage user permission levels and user access. Troubleshoot technical issues. Develop custom web parts, workflows, forms and solutions. Manage and migrate enterprise level web sites from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint On-line. Assist with design options and standardization of pages. Interface with customers to understand business needs and participate in the design/development of project lifecycle. Assist with training. Develop and maintain documentation for system administration procedures. Maintain and monitor an effective security posture. Provide after-hours support as required and participate in monthly scheduled maintenance events. Log, monitor, and report to customers the status of requests. Complete assigned projects in a timely manner. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned. Investigate technologies and develop longterm vision. Maintain prompt and regular attendance as required in order to ensure quality workflow. Evaluate site usage reports and provide assessment reports. Recommended Skills: Degree/Diploma/Certification in IT or a related discipline, and 5+ years background 5yrs of Microsoft SharePoint On-line Administration Background Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010. Microsoft SharePoint migration background would be considered as an asset Background with Microsoft office suite 365 on Flow, PowerBI and/or PowerApps would be considered as an asset. PowerShell scripting background/good current knowledge. Background with Database Management. Strong system documentation skills. Understanding and background with Active Directory and group policy. Strong computer skills Good verbal and written correspondence abilities with strong presentation skills. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. You take great pride in communicating and providing excellent customer service skills. Strong project organizational skills. Must be available to interview at our clients site in Edmonton, Alberta.
