Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Workplaces is responsible for the active management of the Global Real Estate Portfolio including leases and transactions of all the properties, all design, construction and operations for offices, showrooms and DC’s for adidas. This supports the successful implementation of “Creating the New” by supporting revenue growth, portfolio optimization and creating great workplaces to attract and retain top talent across the globe. To ensure a successful and sustainable Portfolio, Workplaces collaborates within an extensive network of internal / external stakeholders and industry experts to provide value added service. In this role you are responsible for the continuous quality improvement and the coordination of the assigned area technical Facility Management at the adidas locations in the region Americas. This role will set the highest quality standards for technical Facility Management related facility operations as Maintenance, Building & Construction Services, Electricity and HVAC. Critical responsibilities: Lead and manage tasks that require profound ability in special areas that require individual solutions Lead, manage, plan, coordinate, steer and ensure operations in the assigned service areas Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings. Accountable for managing and insuring accurate invoicing from service providers. Strategic and conceptual development of the assigned services Manage annual operation budgets for all service areas in close partnership with relevant business financial controller. Develop and effectively communicate risks and opportunities to leadership. Actively manage Materials Handling Equipment external partners to insure efficient, maintained and operational MHE. Manage external services to develop and ensure optimal provision of assigned adidas services at the respective region Manage and steer operational processes of services. Ensure all service-related qualities, policies, standards and processes to achieve max customer satisfaction Continuously analyse and optimise processes, adhering to or even improving defined service levels Manage (sub)projects / workstreams Lead projects – plan, coordinate, launch, accept, take over, execute and monitor Independent responsibility for quality management, e.g. workshops for steering service providers or for quality assurance and process optimisation Internal and external communication (customers, service providers, suppliers) Manage operative and functional planning and design of new facilities and respective equipment Manage, coach, develop and train teammates, input into performance reviews, provide feedback and allocate work considering complexity and background level. Introduce and ensure a leadership culture based on adidas principles within the entire department and across all hierarchical levels Ensuring operator’s responsibility and employer obligations with regard to occupational health and safety, for the respective area of responsibility, in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines, as well as minimizing possible risks. Requisite Education and Background / Min Requirements: Degree in Maintenance or equivalent technical education Min 7 yrs working background in respective area 2+ years of background in leading a business area and in people management experience in medium to large project or program managerial experience within Distribution Centre Environment
