Overview We are currently looking for a part-time Customer Service Representative to provide an exemplary customer background. Customer service support is 7 (7) days per week from 7:30 am to -6:15 pm. Position description Some of the key things you will be responsible for in this role will include: Provide an exemplary customer background to build and maintain trust in our commitment to quality products and customer service Receive customer contacts via phone, e-mail, letter and fax while, in a timely manner, follow through to resolution according to established guidelines Engage with customers in a manner suitable for a public forum Proactively and effectively use consumer brands data and internal personnel resources to formulate appropriate and accurate responses to customer contacts Keep manager informed of potential escalation situations and emerging trends Maintain a professional, calm, and empathetic communication style Maintain up-to-date contact records with all relevant data and info including customer, contact, product, follow-up, and resolution Maintain complete document and sample files Accurately categorize and rate contact types according to established guidelines. Update as appropriate throughout the resolution process Arrange for appropriate sample retrieval in accordance to type, rating, and documented procedures Develop strong working relationships with retailers and other areas of responsibility within the company Position qualifications Proven Analytical abilities Good communication expertise (both oral and written) Excellent organization skills Proficient use of Microsoft office suite, including Microsoft word, Ms excel and Outlook Familiarity with social media platforms/channels Strong organization and problem-solving skills Strong customer service skills Expertise to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization Proven time organizational skills and expertise to work to deadlines with a strong attention to detail Min secondary level education graduate Previous customer service work background Excellent people skills Proven proficiency in typing General familiarity with database navigation and use Sobeys is committed to accommodating candidates with disabilities throughout the hiring process and will work with candidates requesting accommodation at any stage of this process.
